The
AV2500 is an innovative integration which features scan-to-email, scan-to-server
and digital copy capabilities. The scan-to-email feature lets you scan paper-based
documents in full color and e-mail them (PDF, JPEG, TIFF) directly from
the AV2500 while the scan-to-server feature allows you to scan documents
and save them to a designated server.
Best of all, when the AV2500 is connected to your laser printer, the whole
set is able to perform high-quality digital color copy to enhance your workflow
and document impact.

The AVISION AV2500 is a true network colour scanner featuring an A4 flatbed plus a built-in 50 page automatic document feeder with a 50 page capacity.
The AV2500 is a stand-alone device which connects directly to an existing Ethernet network, offering business professionals a fast and cost-effective way to transmit paper documents electronically.
Email: Connected to a local mail server (*1) (e.g. MS Exchange) via an Ethernet network, the AV2500 allows the transmission of documents via e-mail in TIFF, JPEG or PDF format. Up to 2,000 e-mail addresses and 200 groups can be stored for easy recall.
File: scan your documents to a designated server or file folder over an intranet. Supported file formats include PDF, TIFF and JPEG.
Operation is very simple, very much like using a fax machine, except you select email addresses or network destinations instead of fax numbers. However, the comparison stops there: unlike a fax, the AV2500 gives you the choice of B&W, greyscale or colour. With the AV2500 you'll also save the phone call charge associated with faxing!
Scanning on the flatbed takes only seconds. Scanning via the automatic feeder is even faster: 16 pages per minute.
The Avision AV2500 network scanner can be administered from its own LCD display or from any Windows compatible USB keyboard, or from a web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer).
